About Whatever It Takes Automotive in Lakewood, PA

30 Years of Honest, Locally Owned Auto Repair Serving Lakewood

Whatever It Takes Automotive is a locally owned automotive repair shop serving Lakewood, PA, with 30 years of hands-on experience in the industry. That kind of tenure doesn't happen by accident—it comes from consistently giving customers straight answers and doing the work right.

The approach here is simple and consistent: you get an honest assessment of what your vehicle needs, explained clearly, without pressure to approve work you're not ready for. Whether it's a routine service or a more involved repair, you'll know exactly what's being recommended and why before anything moves forward.

That transparency isn't just good business practice—it's the foundation of how this shop has operated for three decades. You leave knowing what was done, what it cost, and what, if anything, to watch for down the road.

A One-Stop Shop Built on Straightforward Service

Whatever It Takes Automotive operates as a full-service repair facility, meaning you don't have to juggle multiple shops for different issues. From diagnostics and routine maintenance to more complex mechanical work, the goal is to handle what your vehicle needs under one roof.

Lakewood's northeastern Pennsylvania winters put real demands on vehicles—cold starts, road treatment, and seasonal temperature swings all affect how a car holds up over time. Having a shop with 30 years of regional experience means the person working on your vehicle has seen how these conditions play out across a wide range of makes and models.

Being locally owned also shapes how the shop operates day to day. Decisions are made by someone who has a direct stake in the quality of the work—not a corporate policy manual. When you bring your vehicle in, you're working with people who are accountable to this community and to you specifically.

The shop environment reflects the same philosophy: relaxed, approachable, and free of the high-pressure tactics that make a lot of people dread taking their car in. You should feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the answers you get.
